| Saffron must be kept far away from light and moisture (particularly powder saffron) inside dark glassy pots. Since aromatic matters have volatile feature and in the case that such matters are maintained improperly, after evaporation of its moisture, aroma and taste of saffron fades out gradually. Saffron is one of the most precious and old varieties of plants on the earth. Stigmas are picked up from fresh flowers by hands. Then it is time to dry these stigmas. 1 kilogram pure saffron consists of more than 170.000 dried stigmas. Therefore, this precious product is known as red gold.
